मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज मुख्यमंत्री कैम्प कार्यालय से “ग्रामीण गढ़वाल समग्र स्वास्थ्य सेवा परियोजना” के अंतर्गत मोबाइल मेडिकल यूनिट वाहनों का फ्लैग‑ऑफ किया। यह परियोजना ग्राफिक एरा इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज एवं हॉस्पिटल, देहरादून ने मुख्यमंत्री की प्रेरणा से शुरु की है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार का संकल्प है कि लोग भौगोलिक और आर्थिक कारणों से स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं से वंचित न रहे। इस पहल से दूरस्थ गांवों तक समयबद्ध और गुणवत्तापूर्ण चिकित्सा सुविधा पहुंचाना आसान होगा। दूरस्थ एवं दुर्गम ग्रामीण इलाकों में प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सुविधा, निःशुल्क जांच, परामर्श एवं दवाओं की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित कराने की दिशा में यह अच्छा प्रयास है।
इस परियोजना का प्रथम चरण जनपद चमोली एवं टिहरी गढ़वाल में आरंभ किया गया है। जहां दो पूर्णतः सुसज्जित मोबाइल मेडिकल यूनिट्स को तैनात किया गया है। इसके माध्यम से सामान्य चिकित्सा, 29 से अधिक निशुल्क पैथोलॉजी जांच, निःशुल्क दवा वितरण, नेत्र जांच, स्वास्थ्य परामर्श एवं रेफरल सेवाएं प्रदान की जायेंगी। हर मोबाइल यूनिट में डॉक्टर मौजूद रहेंगे l ये यूनिट गांव, कस्बों, स्कूलों और बाजारों में निर्धारित समय पर जाकर चिकित्सा सेवा उपलब्ध कराएंगी l इसके लिए जनपदों के अधिकारियों से सामंजस्य रखा जाएगा
