उत्तराखंड में यदि आपका नाम वर्ष 2003 की मतदाता सूची में नहीं मिल रहा है, तो परेशान होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। कुछ महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज दिखाकर आप अपना नाम मतदाता सूची में जुड़वा सकते हैं। यह सुविधा उन लोगों के लिए है जिनका नाम पुरानी सूची में नहीं है, लेकिन वे मतदान करने के योग्य हैं।
प्रदेश में चल रहे प्री-एसआईआर (विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण) में यदि वर्ष 2003 की मतदाता सूची में नाम गलत है, पता गलत है अथवा नाम नहीं मिल रहा है तो मतदाताओं को परेशान होने की जरूरत नहीं है।
वे उस समय की सूची में अपने माता-पिता अथवा दादा-दादी के नाम से प्रोजनी (संतान) वोटर के रूप में दर्ज करा सकते हैं। यदि उनका नाम भी मतदाता सूची में नहीं है तो भी घबराने की जरूरत नहीं। एसआईआर के समय जो गणना पत्र दिया जाएगा। मतदाताओं को उसे भर कर जरूर देना है।
ऐसे में उल्लिखित 11 दस्तावेजों में से किसी एक दस्तावेज को दिखाना होगा। पहचान पुख्ता होने पर मतदाता का नाम सूची में जोड़ दिया जाएगा। प्रदेश में इस समय प्री-एसआईआर का काम चल रहा है। इस समय बूथ लेवल अधिकारी (बीएलओ) घर-घर जाकर मौजूदा मतदाता सूची में दर्ज मतदाताओं का वर्ष 2003 की मतदाता सूची से नाम मिलान कर रहे हैं।
यह देखा जा रहा है कि कई व्यक्तियों को वर्ष 2003 में अपना नाम नहीं मिल रहा है। यदि नाम मिल भी रहा है तो हो सकता है कि नाम गलत दर्ज हो। मतदाता मौके पर ही बीएलओ से इसका मिलान कर वोटर लिस्ट में मैपिंग करा सकते हैं। पता बदलने पर भी कोई परेशानी नहीं है।
आप उसके दस्तावेज भी प्रस्तुत कर सकते हैं। यदि इन सबके बावजूद नाम नहीं मिल रहा है तो भी उनका नाम मतदाता सूची में दर्ज हो सकता है। ऐसा एसआईआर के दौरान होगा। एसआईआर के दौरान सभी मतदाताओं को एक गणना प्रपत्र दिया जाएगा।
उन्हें इस गणना प्रपत्र को भरकर वापस सौंपना है। जो गणना प्रपत्र नहीं सौंपेगा, उसका नाम मतदाता सूची में शामिल नहीं होगा। जो अधूरा गणना पत्र भी देगा जो उससे अनंतिम मतदाता सूची के प्रकाशन के दौरान नोटिस भेजे जाएंगे।
इस नोटिस का जवाब देने के साथ ही आवेदक को अपनी पहचान से संबंधित दस्तावेज एआरओ को दिखाने होंगे। एआरओ इनकी पुष्टि करने के पश्चात नाम मतदाता सूची में शामिल कर लेंगे।
सहायक मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी मस्तूदास ने कहा कि जो भी भारत का नागरिक है और उसके पास इससे संबंधित दस्तावेज हैं। उसे घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है। उन्हें एसआईआर के दौरान प्रक्रिया पूरी करनी होगी। सभी जानकारी सही पाए जाने पर उनका नाम मतदाता सूची में शामिल कर लिया जाएगा।
