मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की अध्यक्षता में उनके कैंप कार्यालय, मुख्यमंत्री आवास में उत्तराखण्ड भवन एवं सन्निर्माण कर्मकार कल्याण बोर्ड (UKBCWB) की महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य के निर्माण श्रमिकों एवं उनके आश्रितों के कल्याण के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक पहल करते हुए, ऑनलाइन पोर्टल व डीबीटी (Direct Benefit Transfer) के माध्यम से लगभग 10,000 श्रमिकों और उनके परिजनों को कुल ₹11.50 करोड़ की आर्थिक सहायता राशि हस्तांतरित की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह केवल धनराशि का हस्तांतरण नहीं, बल्कि श्रमवीरों के प्रति सम्मान और आभार व्यक्त करने का अवसर है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार यह सुनिश्चित कर रही है कि श्रमिकों और उनके परिवारों को शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, विवाह सहायता, मृत्यु उपरांत सहायता जैसी योजनाओं का सीधा और पारदर्शी लाभ मिले।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को सख्त निर्देश दिए कि राज्य के सभी मनरेगा श्रमिकों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर भवन एवं सन्निर्माण कर्मकार कल्याण बोर्ड के अंतर्गत शीघ्र पंजीकृत किया जाए। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि अगले तीन महीनों के भीतर कम से कम 5 से 6 लाख श्रमिकों को बोर्ड के अंतर्गत लाना सरकार का लक्ष्य ही नहीं, जिम्मेदारी भी है।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने यह भी कहा कि योजना की जानकारी के अभाव में कई पात्र श्रमिक लाभ से वंचित रह जाते हैं, जो किसी भी स्थिति में स्वीकार्य नहीं है। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि योजनाओं की जानकारी पंचायत स्तर तक पहुँचाई जाए और पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया को एक अभियान के रूप में चलाया जाए।
इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी बताया कि खनन विभाग द्वारा राजस्व वृद्धि के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य की नई खनन नीति के सफल, पारदर्शी और प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन के कारण खनन राजस्व में अभूतपूर्व वृद्धि हुई है। इतना ही नहीं, हिमाचल प्रदेश और जम्मू-कश्मीर जैसे राज्यों के प्रतिनिधि भी उत्तराखण्ड के खनन मॉडल का अध्ययन कर रहे हैं ताकि वे इस व्यवस्था को अपने राज्यों में लागू कर सकें।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को अपने-अपने विभागों में दक्ष, पारदर्शी और परिणामोन्मुख कार्यप्रणाली सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए ताकि जनता को योजनाओं का वास्तविक लाभ समय पर मिल सके और राज्य के राजस्व में निरंतर वृद्धि होती रहे।
