पिछले साल सुप्रीम कोर्ट से खारिज होने के बाद शासन ने अब शिक्षकों की तदर्थ सेवाओं को जोड़कर चयन, प्रोन्नत वेतनमान दिए जाने का आदेश किया है। शिक्षकों को तदर्थ सेवाओं को जोड़कर चयन व प्रोन्नत वेतनमान का लाभ दिया जाएगा। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में राज्य सरकार की ओर से दाखिल विशेष अनुज्ञा याचिका (एसएलपी) खारिज होने के बाद शासन ने इस संबंध में आदेश जारी किया है।
शिक्षा विभाग में वर्ष-2006 में सहायक अध्यापक एलटी एवं प्रवक्ता के पद पर शिक्षकों की तदर्थ नियुक्तियां हुईं थीं। वर्ष 2013 में इन शिक्षकों को नियमित करते हुए वर्ष 2016 में इनका चयन वेतनमान स्वीकृत किया गया, लेकिन 2018 में शासन ने आदेश जारी किया कि तदर्थ की सेवाएं किसी भी वित्तीय लाभ के लिए नहीं जोड़ी जाएंगी।
वर्ष 2020 में शिक्षक इसके खिलाफ हाईकोर्ट चले गए। शिक्षकों का कहना था कि कोई भी आदेश बैक डेट से नहीं होता। सुनवाई के बाद हाईकोर्ट की एकलपीठ ने शिक्षकों के पक्ष में फैसला दिया था, लेकिन विभाग पहले हाईकोर्ट की डबल बेंच और फिर सुप्रीम कोर्ट चला गया। राज्य सरकार की ओर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एसएलपी दाखिल की गई थी।

शिक्षकों को लंबे संघर्ष के बाद चयन, प्रोन्नत वेतनमान का लाभ मिला है। दुखद यह है कि हर मामले के लिए शिक्षकों को कोर्ट जाना पड़ रहा है।
